Ukrainian defense industry launches production of mine-resistant tank trawls (photo)
Ukrainian volunteer Serhiy Prytula said that his foundation had purchased trawls made in Ukraine. Volunteers equipped T-64BV tanks fighting in Donbas with KMT-7 mine trawls.
The brigades currently engaged in the counteroffensive need mine trawls to successfully navigate minefields.
The KMT-7 mine trawl will help the military overcome anti-tank minefields with tanks and make roadways in them.
The standard set of the trawl includes: two roller sections, two frames (right and left), two knife sections (right and left), a hitch, a cassette of pyro signals for marking the passage, electrical equipment, pneumatic system and spare parts.
