Ukrainian Marines destroy Russian infantry fighting vehicle and mortar crew (video)

The marines used a self-propelled artillery unit to eliminate the Russian invaders at a long distance.

The soldiers of the 36th Separate Marine Brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Bilynskyi eliminated a Russian infantry fighting vehicle and mortar crew. The video was posted on June 12 on the unit’s Facebook page.

In the video, the strike is carried out by artillery of the self-propelled artillery system. Later, the combat vehicle, which the Russian invaders tried to hide near a forest belt, exploded.

Ukrainian artillerymen will continue to build on their success. The defenders spotted a Russian mortar unit and destroyed it.

“Good morning, indomitable! We continue to destroy the occupier,” the post reads.

Artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the war with Russia

Artillery brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine play a significant role in countering Russian aggression. Thanks to the artillery, it was possible to eliminate a significant part of the enemy’s various armored vehicles, which the Russians will not be able to restore.

On June 4, artillerymen of the 26th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted successful actions and destroyed an Msta-B howitzer. The Russian invaders decided to organize their positions for the artillery system among the dense vegetation to avoid being noticed. Subsequently, the installation was successfully eliminated by a unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Ukrainian defenders spotted the occupiers’ movements and opened fire.

On June 2, artillerymen of the 406th separate artillery brigade named after Lieutenant General Oleksiy Almazov destroyed two APCs-82 and an Msta-B howitzer of the Russian Armed Forces. They used the M777 (“three axes”) cannon.

Also on June 8, Ukrainian artillery destroyed an enemy Nona-S self-propelled artillery system hidden behind trees. Despite the fact that the 120-mm self-propelled artillery and mortar system was hidden from view, the artillerymen were able to locate it and make one precision strike.

On May 17, the Ukrainian Armed Forces showed how a Ukrainian Pegasus drone destroyed a Russian Murom-M system. FPV drones, created in cooperation with the “Army of Drones,” were launched at the reconnaissance equipment of the occupation forces and disabled it.
