Ukrainian Pegasus strike drone blows up occupants’ heavy flamethrower system “Solntsepek” (video)

Fighters from the SBU Special Operations Center “A” destroyed a Russian heavy flamethrower system “Solntsepek” using a kamikaze drone.

The video was posted on the Telegram channel of Eskadron, a manufacturer of domestic FPV drones, on Friday, November 24.

TOS-1A “Solntsepek” was placed by the Russian occupiers near the destroyed buildings. The latter did not become an obstacle for the kamikaze drone, which, under the guidance of a UAV operator, successfully flew to the intended target and blew up enemy military equipment.

“Another heavy flamethrower system “Solntsepek” could not hide from our kamikaze drone “Pegasus”,” the developers captioned the published video footage.

Solntsepek is a Russian weapon system designed to disable lightly armored and automotive vehicles, set fire to and destroy buildings and structures with a volumetric explosion, and destroy enemy manpower located in open areas and fortifications. Destruction occurs by exposing the target to high temperatures, fragments, shock waves and overpressure created by the massive use of unguided rockets in thermobaric and smoke-igniting equipment. The range of destruction reaches 6 kilometers.
