A Ukrainian MiG-29 pilot filmed the launch of an American AGM-88 HARM anti-radar missile during a combat mission.
The AGM-88 HARM is an American high-speed anti-radar missile. It has a range of over 100 km (up to 300 km depending on modifications and conditions of use).
This missile can be aimed at high-frequency radars. It is relatively resistant to traditional types of interference. The HARM missile calculates the location of the target and is able to hit it even if the radar station has been turned off.
Ukrainian military engineers, with the help of American specialists, were able to modify AGM-88 HARM anti-radar missiles to be launched from Su-27 and MiG-29. Thanks to this, Ukrainian pilots are successfully engaging Russian radar.
