Ukrainian Railways launched a service about trains abroad

‘Ukrzaliznytsia’ (Ukrainian Railways) launched a website with information about passenger trains traveling from Ukraine to abroad and vice versa, as well as transfers to other local trains and planes.

‘So, for example, if you need to return to Kyiv from Vienna, and the tickets for the direct train No. 149 Vienna – Kyiv have run out, then you can choose an alternative route: purchase tickets for trains ІС105 Vienna – Przemyśl and No. 54 Przemyśl – Kyiv because the connection between them – a perfect hour and a half in Przemyśl!’ — explained in ‘Ukrzaliznytsia’.

The carrier added that you can get to Ukraine by changing trains through the five of the nearest airports:

  • Warsaw
  • Budapest
  • Vienna
  • Kraków (train to Przemyśl)
  • Rzeszów (car transfer to Przemyśl).

Currently, Ukrzaliznytsia operates trains to three European countries – Poland, Hungary, and Austria. Trains between Kyiv and Prague from the Czech carrier were also launched.
