Ukrainian specialists have developed an electronic warfare system with a 5-hour autonomy to protect against enemy drones
Experts from Ukraine have developed the latest portable electronic warfare system to effectively suppress enemy drones. Weighing 10 kilograms, the device is compact and can operate autonomously for up to 5 hours, making it convenient for use in the field.
The system is equipped with combined conventional and digital “sub-protocol” modules. This allows it to operate in a wide range of frequencies: 400-500 MHz, 500-600 MHz, and 700-1000 MHz, which corresponds to the main communication channels of “birds”.
The design of the device includes a durable metal case with moisture protection. For ease of carrying, the body is equipped with handles, which facilitates transportation and operation in various conditions.
The system uses external batteries, which can be made in Li-ion or LiFePo4 versions. These batteries provide a battery life of 2-5 hours, depending on the operating conditions. Active and passive cooling systems are provided to prevent overheating and maintain stable operation.
The power of the REB system is 200W. This is enough to effectively suppress drone control signals and disrupt the operation of drones.
