Ukrainians accidentally rented Putin’s apartment – what they found in it

In Oslo, Norway, a Ukrainian woman accidentally rented an apartment that shocked her with its “pro-Russian interior.”

Iryna was in the Norwegian capital on a working visit in the company of her two children. She decided to find an apartment in the city center and used the services of a housing search platform.

When she studied the pictures of the room published online, she did not notice anything suspicious. The only thing that seemed strange to her was the carpet, but it was a minor disadvantage, so she rented the apartment.

“I checked in late at night, and imagine my surprise,” she said.

We can assume that the property is owned by a true fan of Russian President Vladimir Putin. For example, she saw that the bed was covered with nesting dolls, and a bust of Soviet leader Vladimir Lenin greeted her on the windowsill in the morning.

The Ukrainian woman was shocked and wrote to the owner, but he ignored her. Iryna found it disrespectful and strange.

“He probably thought my question was incorrect. But I think it is not only wrong to rent out housing with traditional Russian attributes, and not because I am Ukrainian, but because it is unacceptable to promote the culture of an aggressor that has been waging war in the center of Europe for 1.5 years,” she said.
