Ukrenergo was informed about the consequences of the morning attacks on October 22
Today’s attack by the Russians on the energy facilities of the main networks of the western regions of Ukraine and the extent of damage is comparable or may exceed the consequences of the attack on October 10-12, – “Ukrenergo”
Repair crews of NEC “Ukrenergo” will begin restoration as soon as rescuers of the State Emergency Service eliminate the consequences of rocket hits. “Ukrenergo” specialists are taking all measures to restore electricity supply as soon as possible in the regions that are currently without electricity.
Currently, restrictions on energy supply have been forcibly applied in Kyiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya and Kirovohrad regions.
The consumer restrictions are necessary to reduce the load on the networks and avoid repeated accidents after the power grids were damaged by terrorist missile attacks.
“We ask consumers to consume electricity sparingly throughout the day, and especially during peak consumption hours — from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.,” Ukrenergo said.
