Ukroboronprom and German defense giant Dynamit Nobel Defense join forces
On February 17, 2024, the state-owned enterprise Ukroboronprom signed a memorandum of cooperation with Dynamit Nobel Defense, a renowned defense concern from Germany, which has been operating in the industry for close to 160 years.
Dynamit Nobel Defense was founded in 1865 and currently operates as a subsidiary of the Israeli defense giant Rafael. The German company is famous for its iconic Panzerfaust 3 anti-tank grenade launchers and modern RGW 60/90/110 systems.
Along with all of the above, Dynamit Nobel Defense offers a wide range of security solutions, including
- broadband communication systems that provide reliable communication with a high level of security in difficult conditions;
- Fire Weaver fire control system, which combines data from various sensors online for fast and effective target engagement;
- customized solutions and protection concepts for all types of combat vehicles;
- military and civilian fire protection systems.
According to Ukroboronprom CEO Herman Smetanin, the partnership with such a respected and reputable company is an important step in strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities by gaining access to advanced technologies.
