Ukrtelecom has resumed providing Internet services in the Sumy region

Internet provider Ukrtelecom has resumed providing services in Sumy and a number of settlements in Zaporizhia region. Access speed is still limited for individuals, priority is given to the services of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as important administrative and social facilities.

Ukrtelecom would like to thank Kyivstar colleagues for their help in restoring Internet access in Sumy Oblast. The provision of services has also been resumed in a number of settlements in the Zaporizhia region, including Melitopol, Yakymivka, and Kyrylivka, – the State Special Communications Service said in a statement.

Restoration works in Energodar are scheduled for March 18.

Ukrtelecom’s critical infrastructure and national network are operational. Telephony and Internet access services are provided in all oblasts except Chernihiv. The average availability of district communication nodes is 80%. At the same time, due to network damage in some oblasts, this figure is low, in Luhansk region – 4%. The company is working to restore the network and provide services.

Mobile operator 3Mob provides all roaming services in the Vodafone Ukraine network, as well as voice and SMS roaming services in the lifecell and Kyivstar networks.

The National Center for Operational and Technical Management of Telecommunications Networks under the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine fully provides network management in wartime and provides round-the-clock coordination of operators on critical issues.
