Unique footage of Storm Shadow flying unimpeded over the “world’s most powerful” Russian air defense system in Crimea
Ukrainian cruise missiles of French-British production Storm Shadow/SCALP flew over the positions of the Russian S-400 air defense system in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
The corresponding video was published by the Telegram channel “Dossier of a Spy.”
The video was reportedly recorded on January 31. It should be reminded that the command post of the 38th Fighter Regiment at the Belbek airfield was hit.
The recording shows traces of anti-aircraft missile launches, but it is clear that they intercepted only some of them or failed to intercept any.
The fact that this is the position of the S-400 is evidenced by the chassis of some vehicles, which resemble MZKT-7930 and BAZ-6909-022.
In addition, you can see a machine that looks like a 92N2E multifunctional control radar.
According to satellite images released by the DeepState project, a command post was destroyed at the Belbek airfield.
The occupation administration of Sevastopol and local residents reported the work of air defense trying to protect the facility.
According to eyewitnesses, after the explosion, fire trucks and ambulances moved toward the military airfield.
Later, the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, confirmed the explosions at the Belbek airfield in a telegram.
The Air Force commander also posted a video showing two missiles hitting an object on the territory of a military airfield.
The shot shows the moment of the missile’s arrival with the simultaneous operation of Russian air defense, which tries to protect the airfield, but fails, and another explosion occurs.
The aviation regiment, based at the Belbek airfield, is equipped with Su-27 and Su-30SM fighters.
