Video of a heroic shooting down: Ukrainian defender shoots down an enemy drone with a shotgun right on the front line

A Ukrainian serviceman shot down an occupant’s FPV drone with a shotgun near the frontline. The drone was flying in the direction of the defender, probably to hit him.

Russians are increasingly using drones to attack the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Therefore, there is a problem of protection against them. One of the options was to use shotguns, which can hit a larger area.

A video of the destruction of an enemy FPV drone was posted online by Ukrainian defenders.

Kamikaze drones are becoming an increasingly important weapon in the Russian-Ukrainian war. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are currently operating dozens of different models of FPV drones, most of which are assembled in Ukraine from foreign components.

The FPV drone has the ability to deliver a pinpoint strike. At the same time, a device costing from several hundred to several thousand dollars can destroy equipment worth millions of dollars.

FPV (First Person View) technology began to develop in the late 2000s and early 2010s. It involves remote control of unmanned aerial vehicles using virtual reality glasses and a joystick.
