Video of the Russian S-300 launcher destroyed near Berdiansk appears

Russians publish a video of a destroyed S-300 air defense system launcher near Berdiansk.

This was reported by journalist Andriy Tsaplienko on his Telegram channel.

The author of the video notes that the rig was destroyed on the move, and the crew was killed.

In addition, he notes that the launcher was hit by a Tochka-U missile, although it could have been destroyed by M30A1, M31 or M31A1 missiles from the M142 HIMARS system.

It can also be assumed that the system was hit by a drone, although the characteristic damage to the asphalt suggests the use of a cluster warhead.

It is worth noting that this is most likely the S-300PM launcher, the destruction of which was reported in November 2022.

Recently, it became known that Ukrainian artillery, together with the SBU special forces, destroyed a command post that could have been part of the S-300 or S-400 air defense system.

By its characteristic features, the destroyed Russian object visually resembles the Soviet command post 5N63S with an illumination radar station of the S-300 complex or its further development – the command post 92N6E of the S-400 complex.

The multifunctional target illumination and missile guidance radar (TIMR) receives and works on air targets.

A few days earlier, Ukrainian reconnaissance men destroyed a Russian 48Ya6-K1 Podlet radar system in the Belgorod region.
