Water level in Kherson region dropped by another 26 cm overnight, but 32 settlements remain flooded

At the same time, the situation on the Left Bank is not showing positive dynamics: the water is receding more slowly there, and the evacuation has failed.

In the Kherson region, 32 de-occupied settlements remain flooded, although the water level dropped to almost 4.2 meters overnight.

This was announced by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

“There are 3784 houses in the water, and the water is gradually receding. In the morning, its level is 4 meters 19 centimeters. Overnight it dropped by 26 centimeters. On the right bank, 2716 people have been evacuated,” he said.

At the same time, the situation on the Left Bank is not showing positive dynamics.

“The rate of water recession has decreased on the occupied left bank. Evacuation has failed. The occupants are taking away people’s boats and looting their homes,” noted Prokudin.
