What Ukrainian MAGURA drones that sank the Russian missile boat “Ivanovets” can do.

Six MAGURA V5 drones have carried out a successful mission against a Russian ship using Ukrainian-developed strike systems. According to the Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, the mission, codenamed “Group 13,” was carried out by operators of a special drone unit of the military intelligence of Ukraine.

MAGURA V5, developed by the Ukrainian company SpetsTechnoExport, proved its effectiveness by sinking the enemy’s hull. The drone has impressive characteristics, including a length of 5.5 meters, a width of 1.5 meters and the ability to travel at speeds of up to 42 knots.

MAGURA can perform a variety of operations, including surveillance, reconnaissance, patrolling, search and rescue missions, and combat operations. Thanks to the hydrodynamic body and sleek profile of the V5, the drone is able to maneuver unnoticed at sea.
