Wooden ATGMs as a bait for Russians: Ukrainian Armed Forces show how to fool the enemy (video)

CNN recently reported on the cunning tactics of the Ukrainian army, which is to create decoys for the Russian invaders. This tactic is aimed at forcing Russian troops to spend their ammunition on fake targets rather than on real military equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Reportedly, Metinvest manufactures special dummies for this purpose, which usually become a target for the occupiers “almost immediately after deployment,” which indicates their high efficiency.

In turn, the Defense Forces soldiers have become accustomed to creating such decoys literally from improvised means.

A video has been posted on social media showing Ukrainian defenders using wooden dummies of anti-tank missile systems for this purpose.

The military installs such ATGMs in different places along the front line, and waits for the occupiers to bite, and if they do not, they change their position until the fake ATGM finally becomes the target of the deceived Russians.
