The Moldovan Border Police found fragments of a Shahed-type unmanned aerial vehicle near the Moldovan-Ukrainian border.

The wreckage was found near the village of Etulia, Vulcanesti district. The drone was surrounded by law enforcement officers.

This was reported by the press service of the Border Police of Moldova.

This information was promptly reported to the competent authorities. Access to the drone wreckage area was restricted. There is no risk or danger to the public in the area, and the authorities have taken all necessary measures to maintain public order, peace and security.

Moldovan border guards believe the wreckage may belong to one of the drones shot down by a Ukrainian anti-aircraft gun during Russia’s latest attack on southern Ukraine.
