Xiaomi introduces smart glasses with voice control and 12-hour battery life
Xiaomi has officially announced the Mijia Smart Audio Glasses 2 — innovative smart glasses with a built-in voice assistant and audio transmitter. The new device received significant improvements in design, functionality, and sound quality compared to the previous version.

Xiaomi significantly updated its smart glasses lineup by introducing Mijia Smart Audio Glasses 2 with major improvements in design and functionality. The new generation device features a notably thinner construction and expanded capabilities.
Xiaomi’s engineers achieved impressive progress in design optimization: the temple thickness has been reduced by 26% at its narrowest point and 30% at its widest. The total device weight is only 27.6 grams, ensuring comfortable all-day wear. The construction features durable steel hinges rated for 15,000 folds, and the lens replacement mechanism has become 70% more compact.
Special attention has been paid to sound quality and functionality. The glasses are equipped with a four-microphone system and improved noise cancellation technology. For users who value privacy, there’s a special mode that minimizes sound leakage. Voice note recording is activated by long-pressing the temple, with a dedicated indicator signaling active recording.
The device’s battery life is impressive: up to 12 hours of music playback, 9 hours of talk time, and 12 days in standby mode. Thanks to 2C fast magnetic charging technology, a full charge takes an hour, and a 10-minute charge provides 4 hours of operation. The glasses also feature IP54 protection against dust and splashes.
The new product is available in five frame variants: metal aviator, hybrid browline, classic Boston, hybrid aviator, and deep-space titanium. The Mijia Smart Audio Glasses 2 is priced at 999 yuan (approximately 140 USD).
