Xiaomi unveils affordable Manta drone from its FIMI sub-brand
The Xiaomi sub-brand, represented by FIMI, has released the Manta drone with fixed wings and vertical takeoff/landing. The “bird” has a wingspan of 700 mm, a length of 445 mm, a weight of 500 grams, and a speed of up to 43 km/h. and autonomy up to 1 hour in the “older” version with a 5000 mAh battery. The basic version is equipped with a 3000 mAh battery.
Manta has four serial ports, GPS HD FPV, CRSF protocol receiver, two IIC interfaces, and can be equipped with an electronic compass and airflow sensor (the latter two options are sold separately). When translating the price into US dollars, the cost of the Manta in the standard configuration is just over $139 (versus almost $376 for its direct predecessor, the FIMI X8 SE 2020).
