Xiaomi will present three modifications of Redmi K60 on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Dimensity 9200 at once
Polish software developer @kacskrz has shared some information about the Redmi K60 smartphones on Twitter.
What is known
The fifth generation (there was no Redmi K10) will initially be represented not by two, but by three smartphones. Of course, everyone already knew about the Redmi K60 and the Pro version, but the third model will be the Redmi K60E.
Redmi K60 has the code name socrates and will be equipped with the flagship mobile processor of the new generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. But the Pro version (code name – mondrian) will receive Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. The Polish programmer himself wonders why so, but it is not excluded, that there is simply an error.
Xiaomi will release at least 3 devices in Redmi K60 series: K60, K60 Pro, and K60E. K60, codename socrates, uses Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. K60 Pro, mondrian, uses Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 (don't ask why), and K60E, rembrandt, will use MediaTek CPU (IDK which yet, maybe Dimensity 9200?)

Redmi K60E will be the most modest smartphone in this trio. It is codenamed rembrandt and will most likely be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 mobile processor. This is a new 6nm chip that debuted in the vivo X90 about a week ago, priced from $520 to $700.
The presentation of the Redmi K60, K60 Pro and K60E will take place early next year. It is possible that Xiaomi will release several more models later. For example, Ultra and Gaming versions, as happened with the Redmi K50 series.
