Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi delivered a greeting in honor of the Day of Defenders of Ukraine. In particular, he noted that this is a holiday for everyone who defends our homeland, and that it is a day of heroes who wear the uniforms of not only the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but also the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service, the Security Service of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service.
And that it is also a holiday for those who fight with arms, or who heal, ensure the operation of the energy system, or teach our children.
Zaluzhnyi also emphasized that our enemy is insidious, and he kills both those who are armed and those who are not. And the enemy has a goal – to destroy us and our state. However, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces is confident that the Russians will not succeed, as each of our defenders proves by destroying the enemy on every piece of our land.
Being an advocate is hard work every minute, every minute and hour, every day. This is blood, sweat and tears for the sake of the future of our country.
“All those who feel their strength and bow their heads to those on the shield, may God and the Protection of the Holy Virgin protect you. Thank you, every Defender and every Defenderess!” emphasized Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi.
