Zaluzhnyi uses a new type of armored vehicle Senator for traveling

Recently, General Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was spotted on the front line in a new type of mobile command and control vehicle.

This is evidenced by a short video from the battlefield posted on the Commander-in-Chief’s page.

The video shows a new control machine developed on a Canadian-made Senator chassis.

The new vehicle provides secure communications between the commander-in-chief and military commanders to ensure continuity of operations and maneuverability during missions.

The Senator armored vehicle, created by Roshel in Ontario, serves as a command post. It can operate in difficult conditions, providing encrypted telephone, radio, and video services.

Canadian armored vehicle manufacturer Roshel has delivered more than 550 high-tech Senator armored personnel carriers to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The armored personnel carrier vehicles were delivered to Ukraine as part of Ottawa’s military assistance to Ukraine and the support of patrons from Eastern Europe.

“By the end of this year, there will be more than 1,000 of them,” the company said.

The Ukrainian military is actively using this equipment during the counteroffensive in the east and south of the country.
