Destruction of Russian “Eagles”

On September 11, paratroopers of the 77th Airborne Brigade neutralized an enemy Orlan. The coordinated efforts of the brigade’s electronic warfare and air defense specialists have achieved a positive result. The paratroopers noted that the enemy would not feel safe on Ukrainian soil. They emphasized that each downed Russian aircraft means saved lives of soldiers defending Ukraine.

Russian troops regularly lose drones that provide the Russian occupiers with relevant intelligence. In July, soldiers of the 92nd Brigade shot down a Russian Orlan drone. Initially, the defenders thought that the missile had passed by and missed. Later, the soldiers recorded that the drone had been eliminated.

In May, Ukrainian defenders eliminated Orlan-10 and ZALA. Soldiers of the 93rd Brigade “Kholodny Yar” have successfully practiced in the area of Bakhmut. The soldiers eliminated two UAVs that allowed the Russian invaders to conduct reconnaissance activities. Both drones allowed the occupiers to conduct reconnaissance at a distance of 20 km. Such operation of these technical means allowed the enemy artillery to make appropriate adjustments.
