2 years late: Tesla has released the first Cybertruck

Do you remember what a stir the Tesla Cybertruck electric pickup truck made back in the day? Probably, many people have already forgotten about it, as the official presentation took place back in 2019. However, the company recently reported the completion of the first Cybertruck.

The first copy was assembled at the Giga Texas plant in Texas. The corresponding photo was published on the Tesla Twitter page. We hope that the company will launch Cybertruck into mass production and will no longer postpone the release date.

When Elon Musk presented the Cybertruck in 2019, he promised to launch production in 2021. After that, the deadlines were repeatedly postponed. Recently, the company promised to launch production in the summer of 2023, and it has finally fulfilled its promise. Although, of course, this is only one instance so far.

By the way, in 2019, not only were other deadlines announced, but also other prices – from $39,900 for a single-engine version. But most likely, there will be no such prices: Musk has already hinted that the price will increase, and Tesla removed the price list and specifications from the Cybertruck pre-order page a few years ago. As it turned out, the futuristic design was difficult to manufacture, and there were also problems with the 4680’s batteries.
