Marine drones send Russian boat – tugboat Saturn – to the bottom (video)
On June 6, a special unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine struck a Russian raid tugboat of the Project 498 Saturn off the coast of the temporarily occupied Crimea.
The videos published by the DIU press service show how the drones bypassed the harbor’s defense and hit the ship. As a result of the operation, the tugboat of the Project 498 Saturn was completely destroyed.
The 498 Saturn is a multi-purpose offshore tugboat of the Russian Navy designed to tow ships and floating structures. “Saturn also performs rescue operations and provides logistics support to the fleet. It is an important element of Russia’s maritime infrastructure.
