Advance ticket sales for ‘Avatar-2’ in Ukraine are 3 times higher than average
The ‘Planet of Cinema’ said that those who were lucky enough to attend closed screenings of the upcoming film highly praised the film for its visual effects, quality of filming and story.
On the eve of the official premiere of James Cameron’s mega-blockbuster ‘Avatar: The Path of Water’, Focus asked the cinema chain ‘Planet Cinema’: what is the reaction of Ukrainian viewers? They did not disappoint expectations – interest is high.
Director General of the largest Ukrainian chain of cinemas ‘Planeta Kino’ Nataliya Baidan told Focus about the situation with advance sales for the film: ‘Advance sales of tickets are about three times higher than the average. This is very good. The situation would, of course, be many times better if it were not for the war.’
We asked what is known from Natalia’s news channels regarding the first reaction to the closed premieres of ‘Avatar-2’ abroad.
‘Many of my friends, business partners, have already seen the film. There were several closed screenings in the USA and one in London. Those who have seen it say in short – it’s a brain drain. Just wow! Believe me, these are very experienced people. Everything is praised: the visual effects, the quality of the filming, the story. I’ve already seen several reviews, feedback on Twitter, in two words, it’s all the same: mind blown.’
We will remind that the premiere of ‘Avatar: The Path of Water’ in Ukraine is already on December 16.
