Ukrainian-made Phoenix strike drones are in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Ukrainian designers from the Module-5 team have designed the Phoenix attack UAV. The first batch of such aircraft has recently been handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Phoenix 03 Heavy is positioned by the manufacturer as an unmanned aircraft system. It can be used to perform tasks such as striking lightly armored vehicles and manpower from the air. The drone is capable of doing this both during the day and at night.
The aircraft system was tested in real combat conditions. In fact, Phoenix has been baptized in combat. The developers claim that the drone has shown high efficiency on the front line.
The Ministry of Defense approved the Phoenix’s technical specifications in December last year. The aircraft was then authorized for use in the Ukrainian army under a simplified procedure. The Defense Ministry signed a state contract with the manufacturer for the supply of several hundred drones.
