Huawei announces huge 4K Smart Screen V5 Pro TVs with Super Mini LED panels and 120 Hz frame rate
Huawei has introduced two TVs of the Smart Screen V5 Pro series. Models differ in size, number of illumination zones, brightness, and price.
The updated Huawei Smart Screen V5 Pro lineup is available in two sizes: 85″ и 98″. Regardless of the diagonal, each TV received a Super Mini LED panel in 4K ULTRA HD format (3840 x 2160 pixels).
The 85″ model has 576 illumination zones, and the 98″ version has 432 more. The brightness is 1600 nits and 2000 nits, respectively. Both screens support a 120Hz refresh rate and cover 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
The hardware platform is built around the new Hunghu 900 chip. The amount of RAM is 6 GB, and the internal storage capacity is 64 GB. A Wi-Fi adapter and an Ethernet port are provided for Internet connection. The new products also have HDMI 2.1 and USB-A 3.0.
Huawei Smart Screen V5 Pro has a 3.1.2 speaker system. The bass driver has a power output of 30 W, and a pair of high-frequency drivers have a power output of 10 W each. The TVs also have three broadband speakers. The total power of the speaker system is approximately 100 W.
The new panels will be available for purchase on the Chinese market from September 28, 2023. Huawei Smart Screen V5 Pro costs $3425 and $5070 depending on the diagonal. The TVs run on the proprietary HarmonyOS 4.0 operating system.
