The Israeli Defense Forces announced that troops of the Nahal Infantry Brigade captured a major Hamas stronghold in western Jabaliya after 10 hours of fighting.
This was reported by The Times of Israel.
It is noted that Israeli soldiers fought Hamas and Islamic Jihad militants in a stronghold that was “both above ground and on an underground route in the area.”
According to the IDF, dozens of terrorists were killed in the fighting. In addition, Israeli troops found many weapons and uncovered tunnel shafts, including one located next to a kindergarten that led to a “large underground path.”

The troops also found “significant Hamas battle plans”.
- On November 2, the Israeli army announced that it had completely surrounded the city of Gaza.
- Today it became known that Hamas has “lost control” of the northern part of the Gaza Strip, with civilians fleeing en masse to the south, where it is safer.
