Air Defense Capabilities Reduced, Ukrainian Forces Successfully Attack Russian SAMs in Crimea
On the night of June 10, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully attacked the occupiers’ S-400 anti-aircraft missile division near Dzhankoi, as well as two enemy S-300 anti-aircraft missile divisions near Chornomorske and Yevpatoriya
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the report, after the Ukrainian missile strikes, the S-300/S-400 radars stopped working in the specified areas. In addition, further detonation of ammunition took place in all three areas of the starting positions of the Russian anti-aircraft missile divisions.
“Thanks to the successful combat work of the Defense Forces, the air defense of the Russian invaders in Ukrainian Crimea suffered significant losses,” the General Staff added, emphasizing that none of the Ukrainian missiles launched were intercepted by the enemy’s “highly effective” air defense.
