American drone manufacturer opens business in Ukraine
Skydio, an American drone manufacturer, plans to expand its business to Ukraine. The company is already hiring workers here, Defense News writes.
The manufacturer plans to manufacture drones in Ukraine, which will be used at the frontline. It was here that the Americans realized how important drones are today.
I’ve never met drone users as experienced as the people in Ukraine. We want a team to be there.
Adam Bry, CEO of Skydio
The company says that it will initially produce components for drones, and then move on to manufacturing the drones themselves.
Currently, Skydio is competing for a defense contract to offer its X10D drone.
By the way, Ukraine is also interested in it. We have already requested such devices and will most likely receive them as well.
