American specialists will check the Russian intercontinental ballistic missile ‘Sarmat’

The American inspection team will be able to check the Russian intercontinental ballistic missile ‘Sarmat’. It will be inspected within approximately 18 months.

In the technical task on the website of Russian public procurement, it is stated that February 20, 2024 is the final date for the inspection of the intercontinental ballistic missile ‘Sarmat’ by American specialists. The inspection team will have access to the main part, the first stage and the transport and launch container.

During the demonstration of the rocket, measurements will be made using a dynamometer, levels, measuring tapes and measuring rods. Americans will also be able to take 20 color photos.

The inspectors will have access to the intercontinental ballistic missile as part of the Strategic Arms Reduction and Limitation Treaty between Russia and the United States.
