An app featuring ancient Ukrainian carols and nativity scene masks has been developed in Lviv
The app collects well-known Christian and ancient folk carols from Lviv, Zakarpattia, Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions.
Lviv has developed a free app called Kolyada, where you can find Ukrainian carols and interactive masks with nativity scene characters. This was reported by the press service of the Lviv City Council.
The app collects well-known Christian and ancient folk carols from Lviv, Zakarpattia, Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions. The Lviv National Academic Men’s Choir Dudaryk, the Lviv Municipal Choir Gomin, and the Choir of the Lviv Children’s Art School #5 joined the recording.
Kolyada also has an augmented reality feature and allows you to try on a Christmas mask of an angel, shepherd, king, and other characters from the Ukrainian nativity scene. Users can record their own performance of a carol, save the video, and share it with friends to create original greetings.
