Elon Musk presents Grok AI chatbot from his own company xAI
Elon Musk’s xAI company has introduced Grok, an AI chatbot available for a limited audience. The owner of xAI showed several screenshots of what the new bot is capable of. After leaving the early beta, Grok will be available to all X Premium+ subscribers, the most expensive X tariff.
Elon Musk shared two screenshots of the chatbot and provided some information about it. First, Grok is connected to the X platform, which gives it access to real-time information, giving the bot a “big advantage over other models.” Secondly, the bot will be more lighthearted than other similar ones – it uses a bit of sarcasm and humor.

Humor is an interesting aspect because when a user asks a dangerous query, such as requesting instructions on how to make drugs, the bot will respond, but with fake and sarcastic instructions, before explaining that it is just a joke and it will not encourage drug making.
One of the biggest problems with artificial intelligence today is how seriously everyone takes it. Some say that the use of AI will lead to fewer jobs, others hate its artistic abilities and claim that it is not real art, and still others complain that students should not use AI to complete assignments. The humorous behavior of xAI’s Grok bot can contribute to a more personal perception of the bot, which leads to a better attitude.
Grok has real-time access to info via the 𝕏 platform, which is a massive advantage over other models.
It’s also based & loves sarcasm. I have no idea who could have guided it this way 🤷♂️ 🤣 pic.twitter.com/e5OwuGvZ3Z

As for access to the X platform, it will be very interesting to see what happens. Twitter is often much faster than traditional news outlets in reporting events, but the information is not very thoroughly verified. It would be interesting to see how Grok will be able to distinguish fact from fiction – perhaps community comments will be involved, but Musk did not clarify this. It is unlikely that a bot will do a better job than Elon Musk himself, who has demonstrated a not too picky approach to general information. The word Grok is used to show that you understand something well.
