Fighter jets escort: Putin’s plane enters Belarusian airspace (photo)

The Russian plane took off from Moscow’s Vnukovo airport at 11 a.m. local time. Russian President Vladimir Putin’s plane prepares to land at Minsk airport.

The plane of Russian President Vladimir Putin entered the airspace of Belarus. This was reported in the publication “Motorcycle Help”.

“Putin’s plane has entered the airspace of Belarus,” the statement reads.

The journalists noted that the IL-96PU RA-96024, en route to RSD771, took off from Vnukovo Airport at 11 a.m. local time. The plane is currently flying over the territory of Belarus, escorted by fighter jets.

The publication added that Putin’s flight was preparing to land at Minsk airport.

Later, it was reported that Vladimir Putin’s Il-96PU plane had landed at Minsk airport at 12:14 p.m. local time.

On October 31, for the first time since the death of the founder of the private military company, Yevhen Prigozhin, his plane landed in Gomel, Belarus.
