Oleg Sentsov shows fierce battle for Avdiivka (video)
A well-known Ukrainian filmmaker, former Kremlin prisoner and now a fighter in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleg Sentsov, filmed trench battles near Avdiivka, which shows how our military are doing everything possible to stop the advance of the Russian army.
The video, which lasts more than half an hour, captures the battle between our defenders in the trenches and Russian soldiers trying to storm the position.
According to Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers, the Russian invaders are advancing from all sides and are already very close – in particular, on one side only 15 meters away.
Grenades are thrown into the trenches and tanks are fired upon.
During this battle, three of our thirteen soldiers, including Oleg Sentsov himself, were wounded.
He is wounded here. I need a place to examine it. His legs are bleeding… Tanchik, lie down, lie down! “We are surrounded, tanks are f**king with us,” a female soldier exclaims, while trying to help the wounded man.
After that, Sentsov radioed his comrades: “Four tanks passed by us, they fired, but went on to the yellow line. How did you take it?”
Later, our military decided to withdraw from the landing to armored vehicles.
One of the wounded calls on his comrades to leave him.
No, guys, you’re going to leave without me, I’m staying, because this is not serious. I’m not coming out, Max,” he says.
However, Sentsov notes that no one will leave without him.
We’ll carry you… We’ll take you out… We’ll throw the machine gun, I’ll take this assault rifle… you drag Alqaida (the wounded – ed.) with both hands. Hold it, no matter how much he screams. “You pull him by the hands, you don’t leave him,” the director shouts.
All of our defenders, including a seriously wounded one, managed to get out of the trenches alive and leave the battlefield.
What else is known about the situation at the front on November 22-23
Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to repel 30 attacks in the Avdiivka sector and 12 attacks in the Kupyansk sector over the last day.
According to Ukrainian soldiers, the Russian army’s offensive east of Novobakhmutivka, north of Lastochkino, Avdiivka and Pervomayske in Donetsk region, where the Defense Forces repelled 30 attacks, was a failure.
It is also stated that our fighters managed to destroy 13 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, a command post, an air defense facility, 4 artillery pieces and an ammunition depot.
