Five “secret” Viber features have been announced
Despite the growing popularity of Telegram, Viber continues to hold the title of the most popular instant messaging service in Ukraine. The app has several useful features that will make using Viber more comfortable. We will talk about them further.
The first feature is two-way encryption of chats. The messenger protects users with two-way verified encryption, so that outsiders cannot access the conversation. To use the feature, you need to verify the contact by sending a code to the other person. If two users receive the same code, their correspondence starts to be encrypted.
The next Viber feature is private chats. The user can hide the chat and allow access to it only after entering the password he or she has created. You can do this separately for each dialog in the messenger.
Viber has a rather interesting feature that allows users to create stickers on their own using the built-in editor. You can use it to create your own stickers and make them available to all 800 million subscribers of the instant messaging service.
Modern messengers have begun to consume a lot of energy, which affects the battery life of a smartphone. In addition, they take up a lot of space in the internal memory. You can solve both problems on your own.
The issue of large space is solved by disabling automatic saving of videos and photos to the gallery. All this is done through the messenger settings in the “Data and Multimedia” section. To save energy, you should deactivate the “Always on” function in the settings.
Finally, the latest Viber feature is an integrated translator. It is powered by Google Translate. It allows you to quickly translate messages written in foreign languages and vice versa.
