Following Lithuania and Poland: Norway raises $5,440,000 for Bayraktar TB2 UAV for Ukrainian military
The Norwegians, following the Lithuanians and Poles, decided to raise money for the purchase of the Bayraktar TB2 drone for Ukraine.
Crowdfunding was launched by Norwegian lawyer Bengt Erik Waldow. He plans to raise NOK 55,000,000 or about $5,440,000 for the UAV. By the way, the first thousand people who donate at least 250 crowns will be able to choose a name for the drone.
We will remind you that Bayraktar TB2 is a Turkish strike operational-tactical UAV with an internal combustion engine and a push-type propeller. The drone has up to 4 guided munitions. It can stay in the air from 12 to 24 hours. The maximum control range is up to 150 km.
