Fuel for the Armed Forces will be labeled with special colors. Why will this be done?
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine will oblige suppliers of fuel for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to label it with special colors. This is how they will try to combat its illegal sale.
This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Defense.
For example, red dye will be added to diesel fuel and green dye to gasoline.
It is planned to supply this fuel starting next week, and it will be delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the end of November.
The defense ministry noted that the labeling will make it possible to identify and track fuel purchased exclusively for the Armed Forces. As a result, they hope to reduce the possibility of its illegal sale.
“The quality of fuel for military equipment is of utmost importance,” the Defense Ministry said.
They also claim that the color will make it impossible to abuse the fuel mixing process on the ground.
In addition, it will be impossible to dilute the labeled fuel so that the color disappears completely, the ministry assures.
