According to the agency, as a result of the “failure,” transport card holders in the Russian capital and Kazan could not pay for travel tickets, top up their cards or pay for parking.

Ukrainian hackers have attacked a number of Russian government and local portals, including the Troika fare payment system, which is one of the largest in Russia. This is how the IT army suspended the subway in Moscow. This was announced on Wednesday, March 13, by the Ministry of Digital Transformation on Telegram.

According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the relevant ticketing system serves 38 regions of the Russian Federation.

As a result of the “failure,” transport card holders in Moscow and Kazan were unable to pay for travel tickets, top up their travel cards, or pay for parking.

As a reminder, on February 29, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine reported that the largest Internet portal of the Russian Federation, Mail.ru, was attacked by the Ukrainian IT army. As a result, some users lost the ability to log in to their accounts.
