On Saturday evening, April 27, two young Ukrainians were found with stab wounds in a shopping center in the German city of Murnau. A Russian citizen is suspected of the murder.

It is noted that the 36-year-old victim died on the spot from severe injuries. Another, a 23-year-old, died in hospital. Both men lived in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen neighborhood.
According to law enforcement, the suspect was detained the same evening at his place of residence near a shopping center. He was a 57-year-old Russian citizen.
The criminal police began investigating the double murder. On April 28, a preventive measure will be imposed on the Russian, the prosecutor’s office requests that he be taken into custody.
Law enforcement officers are currently investigating the exact course of events, the background and motives of the suspect.
