The Israeli Defense Forces conducted a targeted raid using tanks in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. The IDF struck terrorists and infrastructure, the ministry said.
The raid took place during the night of October 26 in preparation for the next stages of the fighting, the IDF writes.
The raid was led by the 84th Givati Brigade (Hebrew for “Mountain Brigade”), an infantry brigade that was stationed in the Gaza Strip until the Israeli withdrawal in 2005.
“During the fighting, the soldiers identified and struck numerous terrorists, terrorist infrastructure and anti-tank missile launchers, and conducted a battlefield preparation operation,” the Israeli army said.
At the end of the raid, the military left the territory, the agency concludes.
