In Japan, McDonald’s has released a new line of perfumes with the scent of French fries in honor of International Women’s Day, Siliconera reports. They will be sold only today, on March 8, 2024.
There are three flavors in the line: classic McFries, French fries with seaweed and salt, and French fries with garlic, black pepper and mayonnaise.
Each bottle of the perfume will have its own design and shape: the scent of classic McFries will be presented in the form of the iconic red and yellow McDonald’s box, while the flavors of seaweed and salt fries, as well as garlic, black pepper and mayonnaise fries will repeat the design of Shaka Shaka Potatoes packaging.
Shaka Shaka potatoes are an exclusive McDonald’s product in Japan. It is so named because of the sound the sachet makes when you shake it to mix different seasonings.
The number of perfume bottles is limited. They will be sold for one day only – today, March 8.
