McDonald’s uses flavored billboards with French fries in the Netherlands (video)

In the cities of Utrecht and Leiden, billboards were placed that looked ordinary at first glance, but as passersby approached, they could smell the smell of McDonald’s fries spreading from inside the billboard. This idea was the first of its kind, where the advertisement conveyed not only visual but also aromatic impressions, reinforcing memories of pleasant times at McDonald’s.

These billboards were strategically placed in the vicinity of McDonald’s restaurants to encourage customers to make spontaneous visits to the restaurants.
