Musk declared himself a Jew after visiting the Auschwitz concentration camp;
Businessman Elon Musk said that he has so many Jewish friends that he is “a Jew by complicity,” but added that he is “naive” about anti-Semitism.

On January 22, Musk, accompanied by conservative activist Ben Shapiro, visited Auschwitz-Birkenau, a former Nazi death camp in the Polish city of Auschwitz, where millions of Jews were killed during the Holocaust.
The European Jewish Association organized the visit and held a conference later on Monday in Krakow. There, the Tesla CEO asked Shapiro about the “radical surge in anti-Semitic activity.”
The billionaire said he was “naive” on this issue, as two-thirds of his friends are Jewish.
“I have twice as many Jewish friends as non-Jewish friends,” Musk said to Shapiro’s laughter, “I’m more of a Jew by association. I’m a Jew by choice. So I thought: “What exactly are people saying about this anti-Semitism?” Because I never hear it at the dinner table. It’s absurd, at least in my circles of friends.”
