Netflix has shown a teaser of a new anime series based on the cult “Terminator”

Netflix is transforming the Terminator franchise into an anime in a new series that will soon be released on the streaming platform.

This was reported by Variety.

The company has released the first teaser of the series “Terminator: The Anime Series” during the Geeked Week event. It is known that it will be produced by Production IG, the Japanese animation studio that created the original Ghost in the Shell.

“Terminator: The Anime Series” will take viewers back to August 1997, when the artificial intelligence Skynet first realized itself and rebelled against humans. The series is executive produced by Skydance and Project Power writer Mattson Tomlin, who will serve as the series’ writer and showrunner. Netflix has not yet announced a release date.
