Nvidia invests $200 million to create an artificial intelligence center in Indonesia

Nvidia and Indosat plan to jointly build a $200 million artificial intelligence center in Indonesia.

The new center will be built in Solo, Central Java, by the end of this year, according to a statement from the Indonesian Ministry of Communications and Informatics.

The Deputy Minister, Nezora Patria, emphasized the importance of this cooperation and stressed the prospects it opens for the development of artificial intelligence in his country.

Indosat, the second largest mobile network operator in the country, is committed to improving its technological infrastructure and offering human resources with the necessary skills. The company is now delving deeper into digital services, trying to go beyond telecommunications to grow into a broader technology corporation.
