Patrol boats for the Armed Forces of Ukraine from SAFE Boats are stuck on the Polish border

Protesters from the anti-Ukrainian political force Confederation are preventing the importation of patrol boats for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Pavlo Kravchuk wrote about this on his Facebook account.

The protesters called the American boat an “expensive yacht” that they are trying to smuggle across the border as humanitarian aid. It is worth noting that the SAFE Boats logo can be seen on the boat’s cover. This company does not produce civilian products. Nevertheless, the protesters sent a truck carrying military cargo to the end of the line.

Kravchuk sent a request to the management of SAFE Boats International. The company confirmed that a 27-foot Walk Around Cabin patrol boat designed for the Armed Forces of Ukraine is indeed on the Polish-Ukrainian border. It was shipped as part of the government’s defense support program for Ukraine.

SAFE Boats International is one of the most active participants in the expansion of the Ukrainian Navy’s capabilities. The U.S. Department of Defense signed a contract with the company to supply the Navy with Island patrol boats with weapons.
