Roshel has equipped its Senator armored vehicle with a system for launching unmanned aerial vehicles
The Canadian company Roshel Inc. has unveiled its Senator Mine-Resistant, Ambush-Protected (MRAP) armored vehicle configuration with the Easy Aerial autonomous solution for unmanned aerial vehicles.
The Senator MRAP is designed to protect the crew from up to 7.62×39 mm API BZ caliber fire from a distance of 30 meters, and is also able to withstand an anti-tank mine detonation under any wheel and under the center of the vehicle. Thanks to its innovative V-shaped hull, the Senator MRAP maximizes crew survivability by deflecting explosions away from the cab and dissipating blast energy.
According to the company, the vehicle’s customizable layout and advanced engineering solutions provide an ergonomic and adaptable workspace, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency.
The armored vehicle was integrated with the Easy Guard Vehicle (EGV) tactical ground station, adapted to various operational requirements.
EGV was specially designed for installation on mobile platforms. Due to their small size and light weight, UAVs can be quickly deployed and landed from any type of vehicle moving at speed on or off-road.
New solutions for unmanned aerial vehicles provide excellent situational awareness for armored vehicle crews. The EGV can provide real-time intelligence, situational awareness for enhanced defense, and act as a communications relay for tactical maneuver forces, special operations, and hurried fighters on the battlefield.
