Satellite detects damage at airfield in Krasnodar region
Satellite images of the airfield in the village of Kushchevskaya, Krasnodar Territory, which was attacked on the night of April 27, have been released.
The images were posted by analyst Brady Afrik on his X (ex-Twitter).
Geolocated footage of the destroyed Russian glide bomb kits at this site and satellite imagery from today show Ukraine’s recent strike damaged several different areas at Russia’s Kushchyovskaya air base. https://t.co/Ebn5y69wQU pic.twitter.com/qEvs7TcvkM

Satellite images show traces of a large fire in one of the parking lots.
The large area of the fire indicates that there could have been an airplane at the site, but at least visually, there is no wreckage.
It can be assumed that the Russians promptly removed the wreckage, or that the site could have been used as an ammunition, fuel and lubricant depot or a vehicle depot.
A smaller spot is located in front of a parking lot, which could also have been used for an airplane, warehouse, or vehicle.
Another location on the airfield, identified by the OSINT community as a warehouse for control and correction modules, also shows signs of damage.
A Su-27/30/34/35 is located near the warehouse, which also has spots that look like fire marks, but this could be just a shadow or traces on the airfield surface.
Russian propagandist Fighterbomber (Ilya Tumanov), commenting on the drone strike on the airfield, said that for the amount of damage caused by this strike, it was possible to build a shelter for the full number of aircraft of one regiment.
In addition to the airfield, the drones attacked oil infrastructure and other facilities in the Slavic, Seversky and Kushchevsky districts of Krasnodar Krai.
There was an attack on the Ilyich refinery, but the tank farm was allegedly not damaged due to the security system in place, and the distillation column was damaged.
In total, according to local authorities, 66 drones attacked the Krasnodar region.
